The performance of this first project of the approved with the Leader Plan, which will invest in Fortuna about â‚¬ 200,000, has consisted in rebuilding and returning to its place of origin a 17th century fountain, made of stonework and typified as monumental, given its architectural and historical type, for its value as one of the main heritage and tourist resources of Fortuna.
This rehabilitation of the monument has been carried out under the supervision of technicians of the Directorate General of Heritage and this project has had an approximate cost of â‚¬ 40,000.
The Mayor of Fortuna, José Enrique Gil, highlighted the pride and enthusiasm for rehabilitating this historical source "returning it to its place of origin and taking another step to continue to value the heritage of Fortuna.We want to make our municipality a benchmark in interior tourism and we are recovering our historical and cultural heritage to enable more spaces of coexistence and enjoyment in Fortuna ".
