Fortuna commitment to a culture of prevention in schools. (20/06/2013)

The Director of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, Thomas Perez, the Councillor for Education, Finabel Martinez, and Mayor of the town, Kitty Smith, closed yesterday morning in the Risk Prevention Campaign conducted in schools in Fortuna by an awards ceremony.

Under the slogan "GROWS UP", the City of Fortuna with the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, aware that the culture of prevention should be promoted from training, have organized for the seventh consecutive year, this school year for children and girls from 5 th grade in public schools in the municipality of Fortuna, in order to introduce them to basic concepts in prevention in a fun, thus making them partakers of the obligation to comply with all the rules on prevention.

As part of this campaign briefings have been held in order to raise awareness and promote preventive culture, habits and patterns creating safe work, both at school and at home for children.

These sessions have been closed with the awards ceremony of the contest drawing on prevention, in which 10 finalists were selected from 33 schools participating students Barn Lane and San Antón, which in turn saran candidates in the contest drawing of the same campaign, but this time at the regional level.
