The Minister of Industry, Tourism, Business and Innovation, Juan Carlos Ruiz, and the mayor of Fortuna, Catherine Smith, have signed an agreement by which the City Council joins the 'Entrepreneur Municipality' initiative.
"This agreement demonstrates the commitment and, above all, the attitude that has both regional and local authority to put at the service of people with the resources at our disposal," said the director.
Ruiz added that "these resources are for you to open a business more easily, so you can receive information, training and guidance as well as funding, always necessary when starting a business."
In this regard, he recalled that "Fortuna, as 'Entrepreneur Municipality', can benefit from the advantages of Emprendemos Plan 2014/17, which provides for a total investment of 100 million over the next four years to fund entrepreneurial projects."
The Minister noted that "municipalities Fortuna is more potential in the Region of Murcia, a way to go that can lead to very important results."
He added that "the development of Fortuna has to be specially linked to entrepreneurship and helping people create their own jobs."
Juan Carlos Ruiz showed his commitment to the mayor of Fortuna to promote tourism in the municipality.
"We will make a very strong campaign and our tourism product and destination Fortuna is domestic tourism and health tourism".
The Minister noted that the tourism boost Fortuna "will also be very important people that capacity when creating their own business, because you have to offer the tourist services and attractions added to return."
The Minister used his visit to Fortuna to visit the Hospice Rural La Garapacha and the Cave Solins Rural Resort.
