The Directorate General of Water of the Ministry of Water, Agriculture and Environment performs the works to commission two collectors in order to improve sanitation in urban areas of the municipalities of Fortune, and eyes, and represent a total investment of more 550,000 euros.
In Fortuna, the works of the general sanitation collector road connecting with the highway Archena Murcia Fortuna are already completed.
The new collector channels the wastewater from areas north and south of the town of Fortuna to take them to the existing collector which leads to the WWTP of the town.
The action will benefit a population of 12,300 inhabitants will have better conditions for the disposal of wastewater.
The new pipeline starts in the vicinity of the avenue Vicente Measurement and runs through the south of town to Calle Cid, with a length of 1,050 linear meters, and an investment of 355,769 euros.
In eyes, work on the collector to clean up the east side of town are almost completed, will benefit about 400 inhabitants.
The new pipeline frees the existing collector at the center of her population has capacity problems, connected with the former on Avenida del Rio Segura flows and leads to Ebara eyes.
The route of the new pipeline runs from the Segura River Avenue through the forecourt of the gauging station and the service road on the right bank of the river to the Ebara.
The length is 962 meters.
These works have involved an investment of 195,000 euros and has also been necessary to carry out the execution of 22 sanitary manholes, crosses under the eyes and ditch ravine Ricote and replacement of pavement and asphalt roads affected.
